The Story

Mariah Angeliq

Latin music is entering a new era, and Mariah Angeliq is helping shape what comes next. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, to Cuban and Puerto Rican parents, Mariah grew up immersed in two cultures that would become the foundation of her artistry. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she developed a sound that naturally bridges Latin music, R&B, pop, and Caribbean influences. At just 16 years old, she was discovered by acclaimed producer Nely “El Arma Secreta,” whose early belief in her talent helped launch her professional career. By 18, she had signed with Universal Music Latino, marking the beginning of a journey that would establish her as one of the most recognizable female voices of her generation.

Her breakthrough came with records like “Perreito” and “El Makinón” alongside Karol G, helping build a catalog that has generated more than 3 billion streams worldwide. Throughout her career, Mariah has collaborated with artists including Karol G, Anuel AA, Farruko, Bad Gyal, Luísa Sonza, and Sebastián Yatra, demonstrating an ability to move effortlessly between reggaetón, R&B, pop, and global Latin music while connecting with audiences across continents. That versatility reached another milestone in 2026, when she joined Karol G onstage at Coachella to perform “El Makinón,” further cementing her place among Latin music’s most exciting and internationally recognized artists. Today, her career includes 11 Latin Platinum certifications, audiences in more than 10 countries, collaborations with 15+ major artists, and a body of work that continues to resonate around the world.

After years of building a successful career, Mariah entered a season of deep personal reflection that reshaped both her life and her artistry. Today, she is embracing a new chapter rooted in faith, healing, authenticity, and purpose. Her music has evolved into a fusion of Latin influences, R&B, Afrobeats, and contemporary pop, centered around themes of identity, hope, femininity, resilience, and personal growth. Rather than simply creating songs, she is committed to creating music that connects on a deeper level—music that inspires, encourages, and stays with people long after they hear it. This is more than a new chapter. It is the beginning of the legacy Mariah Angeliq is building: one rooted not only in success, but in authenticity, purpose, and lasting impact.
